Things are moving fast across the region, so a mid-week briefing is in order.
As I was flying over Afghanistan en route from Bangkok to Paris last night, my flight path was adjusted to account for the continued Israeli air strikes. Here’s a picture I took on the plane of the live flight map:
Israeli military leadership have announced that after 4 days of conflict, they’ve achieved full air superiority over Tehran, a sign that we’re just getting started. Israel is likely setting the stage for what we saw in Beirut. The Israeli Air Force commanded the skies, delivering powerful decapitation strikes and eliminating senior Hezbollah leadership. We can expect something similar to unfold in Tehran over the next few weeks.
